About the team
It all started with a dream. The dream? To have a team of talented dancers who have a passion for line dancing. We turned that dream into a reality on November 2, 2014. We took something that we are passionate for and continue to make a success out of it. We teach line dance lessons, we perform with our hearts on the stage, we give back to our community. Every week brings us something new. We grab it by the horns and ride it out to our fullest capability!
We all have the same passion.. But we are all very different.
Our captain and owner of the team, Jessica, has had country in her soul since she was born. Her grandfather, co-owner of San Jose's Cowtown, started that passion many years ago. Jessica continues to pass on the passion with her husband and co-owner, Kristopher. They have achieved the goal of creating a family friendly space to keep line dancing alive! Together they have grown a team of ten dancer, plus their spouses and many little dancers in training. They continue to bring back older line dances as well as learn and choreograph new line dances.

Meet our wonderful team
Jessica - owner, captain, instructor
Jessica has been line dancing for as long as she can remember! She was on a previous line dance team for a couple years before she started her own team in November of 2014 with a dream for more dancing and more community work! She is seeing her dream come true with each passing year the team has been alive! Her favorite line dance is anything with spins and a good, upbeat song. Jessica has been married for almost 12 years, is a mother to a crazy 2 year old boy and loves to spend time with family and friends!
Andy - dancer, instructor, content creator/social media manager
Andy joined the Cowtown Cowgirls in 2025. She has been line dancing for the last 5 years, starting during her time living in Santa Cruz county. Aside from her day job as an educator, she has a background in Greek dance (OPA!) and musical theatre. Dance has been her favorite outlet for connecting with community, and loves to be both the teacher and the performer. Her favorite line dance is Infectious, inspired by the first competition she watched at The Palace in Tennessee. When she’s not on the dance floor, you might find her at the beach, the thrift store, or sipping on whiskey in her backyard.
Coralynn - dancer
Coralynn has been dancing for just over 20 years. The passion began at a very young age from her aunt. Love being a part of a team that gives back to the community and shares the passion for dancing. My favorite dance is one that's very upbeat and gets the body moving. Coralynn is a mother of 2 very outgoing young boys. She loves being outside or on adventures with her boys, family, and friends.
Kate - dancer
Kate is new to Sonoma County, and she has been dancing since she was five years old. She has dance roots in Spanish flamenco and hip hop. Kate also has a musical theater and performing background, to which she was introduced at the age of ten. Line dancing has captured a big piece of her heart after relocating from Orange County to Sonoma County, and she is so happy to belong to the Cowtown Cowgirls!
Samantha D. - administration, special events
With a background of cheer, Samantha has continued her love for performing and dancing over the years. Motherhood has kept her busy, but she still helps where she can and joins the Cowtown Cowgirls at special events!
Samantha Z. - dancer
A stay a home mom of 3 by day and a line dancer in her free time. Samantha is a social butterfly and has been line dancing for 15 years, 10 of that has been with the Cowtown Cowgirls. Samantha's background in cheer helps her pick up dances and routines, but it's the girl time she loves most about being on the team connecting with her peers and other moms.
Sarah - dancer, content creator/social media manager
Sarah’s love for line dancing started early, learning her first dance, “Elvira,” at just 10 years old. What began as a fun introduction quickly grew into a lifelong passion, and by 18 she was dancing consistently and fully immersed in the world of line dance. Now on her third team, she has found a place that truly feels like home. For Sarah, line dancing is more than movement—it’s community, expression, and something that has completely captured her heart.
Shaney - dancer
Since 2012, she has enjoyed line dancing on and off, but by 2017 it became a major part of her life. Over the years, her passion for dance has continued to grow, especially through learning more complex routines and mastering spins, which have become her favorite part of dancing. While she enjoys spending her days helping others through her career, her true joy comes from nights spent on the dance floor. Outside of social dancing, she dedicates much of her free time to preparing for performances, constantly challenging herself to improve and push beyond her limits. Her lifelong loves of animals and music continue to shape who she is, and this year she is excited to begin a brand-new chapter: becoming a first-time mom while balancing her busy and passion-filled life.
Toni - dancer, team assistant
Toni has been line dancing for nearly 25 years. She loves to spin and body roll the most. Although life is different now, she stays connected with line dancing as our team assistant. Her experience and eye for details help the team as they are rehearsing for future events.
Tori - dancer
Tori has always been an active soul. She has been dancing or playing some type of sport since she could walk. She started in hip hop and jazz as a child and even took a year of ballet in her teens but that was mostly because it helped her ice hockey game. She played softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer and Ice hockey through the years but dancing was always a constant. At 18 she started line dancing at Kodiak Jacks just like her mom did when she was younger and the love of line dancing began. She is now passing that generational love of line dance down to her 7 year old daughter who can often be seen at fundraising event with us along with her husband Tyler. Tori's favorite part of the team is that it involves the entire family. Tori's favorite line dance is probably Going Through Hell but it's hard to narrow it down. If Tori isn't on the dance floor you can probably tind her either taking photos somewhere or working with horses.
